Richan Laage

BCom LLB LLM

Richan obtained his BCom degree in 1995 and his LLB degree in 1997 from the North West University. He did his articles with Solomon Nicolson Rein & Verster Attorneys in Pretoria whereafter he joined Laage Schoeman & Stadler during 1999. He was admitted as an attorney on the 27th of January 2000 and became a director of the firm in March 2001.  Richan obtained a Masters degree from Unisa during 2004 and was admitted as a Notary Public during 2008.

Richan’s areas of practice include; administration of deceased estates, family law, property transactions, general and commercial litigation, liquidations & evictions, as well as a wide variety of commercially related legal work.

Cobus Hefer

B Proc

Cobus obtained his B Proc degree in 1999 from the North West University. He did his articles with Venter & Mosdell Attorneys in Carletonville whereafter he joined Laage Schoeman & Stadler in 2001. He was admitted as an attorney on the 31st of July 2001 and became a director of the firm in March 2004.

Cobus’s areas of practice are focussed on insolvency and consumer law. This includes liquidations, business rescue, administrations, debt review applications, voluntary surrender applications, insolvency & rehabilitation applications as well as the administration of insolvent deceased estates.

Christelle van Wyk

LLB

Christelle obtained her LLB degree from the North West University during 2006. She joined Laage Schoeman & Stadler Inc in 2008, where she did her articles with the firm. She was admitted as an attorney on the 20th of May 2010, from which date she practised as an attorney with the firm.

Christelle’s areas of practice are focussed on family law, including divorce law, maintenance applications, family violence interdicts & matters relating to children.
